We are from Texas and used to very good Mexican and Tex/Mex food but decided to give this a shot. The place is not huge but not small either. The staff were all very pleasant. The food did not take a long time to come to our table. My wife ordered the Chile Verde chimichanga. The chile verde sauce was very flavorful. The tortilla was good. The actual pork was a bit dry, which was a bit surprising since it soaks in the sauce - not bad but not great. The refried beans were good - not great - they were missing that 'home cooked' flavor but again, not bad at all. My grandson had bean and cheese tacos. Now, in our area of Texas bean and cheese tacos come in a soft tortilla - not a hard shell, so I made sure to make that clear and they made them correctly for him. The tortillas were good; beans not bad but not great (same as above). He liked them. I ordered the chicken and beef fajitas. The vegetables and meat had a good flavor, though the chicken and beef were a bit dry and somewhat overcooked. Overall though, I liked it - maybe just don't cook the meat quite so much. The pico was very good and the guacamole was also very good. I think with a little less cooking of the meat so it has some moisture to it and is not as dry and maybe a bit of a change to the refried beans and this place would be a '5 star' place. We'd probably come back to give it another shot if we are in the area again.

Their tacos are very good & beer is relatively easy expensive. It's a bit noisy & was very busy when we went for dinner. Margaritas are also good. Although busy, service was good as well.

Tried take out and in person both are delicious and the service is great! I will be back for many birria taco meals - they are extremely yummy!

We loved our first experience here! The staff was friendly, food came out fast. Great little Mexican spot. We ordered chips and guac, which needed more salt, but good. Shrimp and chicken fajitas were excellent, and beans and rice are great! Butter prawns were excellent. Chile verde platter had great flavor Chicken fajita burrito was great too! We got the churros and they were yummy, just wish it was a bigger portion, they are tiny.

Tasty food that was served incredibly fast -- within 7 minutes of placing our order with our server (granted, we were only one of three occupied tables in the restaurant, but it was still quick). The food was flavorful and fresh, with pretty good portion sizes. The service was friendly, though not the most attentive throughout the meal. The dining atmosphere was quiet and clean and made for a good dine-in experience.

Katrina's. A Mexican place i have never heard of, but was in the mood and it was close to where i was working so i tried it. I was expecting a local so so fair tasting Mexican restaurant, so imagine my surprise when I realized it was run by a Michelin Chef. (That may be a bit of an untruth--but the food is that good) Started out with the salsa. One word. Phenomenal!! So so tasty and unique in the spice mixtures. I then had the fajitas. Best fajitas I have ever tasted!! Huge portion, chunky tomatoes. Great taste. I had chicken and shrimp. Even the refried beans tasted better than normal refried beans. This place is the bomb. It is also very authentic. And not to be outdone with the food, the service is wonderful. Alma took great care of us. I am sitting here stuffed with a smile on my face from the great meal I just ate! Definitely bringing the family here and this will fast become a regular joint for us!!
